🇲🇼 Malawi 🇲🇼
Malawi is known as the “Warm Heart of Africa” — and it genuinely feels that way when you travel through. The country offers relaxed lakeside living, friendly communities, and opportunities for hiking, wildlife, and cultural experiences. Lake Malawi is the centrepiece: clear water, beaches, snorkeling, and island stays all make it easy to unwind.

Away from the lake, travellers explore tea plantations, mountain trails, and national parks that are gradually rebuilding wildlife populations. The pace is slow, calm, and very welcoming, making Malawi ideal for backpackers who want a break from fast travel.
The dry season is best for hiking and lake days, but Malawi works year-round.
